BorgWarner appoints new CFO, COO

ABR Staff Writer Published 28 March 2012

BorgWarner, a provider of components for vehicle powertrain applications, has appointed Ronald Hundzinski as the new chief financial officer (CFO) and James Verrier as the new president and chief operating officer (COO), effective immediately.

Hundzinski will replace Robin Adams who has been promoted as the new vice chairman of its board of directors and will continue as executive vice president and chief administrative officer.

The company said that Hundzinski will report to Adams, while Adams and Verrier to Tim Manganello, chairman of the board and chief executive officer.

Hundzinski previously served as the company's corporate treasurer and controller, prior to that served as vice president of finance at BorgWarner Turbo Systems, the company's business unit.

Manganello said as vice president of finance of the company's Turbo Systems business unit, Hundzinski was essential to its profitable growth.

In his roles as corporate treasurer and controller, he worked closely with Adams, therefore assuring a seamless transition.

Verrier most recently served as president and general manager BorgWarner Morse TEC, and prior to that as vice president and general manager BorgWarner Turbo Systems, Passenger Car Products based in Germany.

In his new role as vice chairman, Adams will continue to focus on financial matters while working closely with Hundzinski in his new role as CFO.
