Valeo, IFP Energies nouvelles sign framework contract for powertrains

Valeo, a provider of integrated systems and modules for the automobile industry, and IFP Energies nouvelles have signed a framework contract for powertrains that covers both internal combustion engines and, hybrid and electric motor systems.

Both the companies will be able to enhance their understanding and technical vision of the powertrain market and jointly develop clean powertrain systems and technologies for the future.

Valeo is specialized in the field of powertrains, and in particular in electric, hybrid, transmission and engine control systems, with a strategy focused on reducing vehicle CO2 emissions.

IFP Energies nouvelles is a public research organization with expertise in fuels, engines, hybrid systems and vehicle electrification, as well as testing and simulation resources.

Beyond their mutual willingness to work together on these subjects, Valeo and IFP Energies nouvelles are convinced that these collaborative projects will help speed up the emergence of technologies and develop expertise in the field of clean powertrain systems.
